MLB Organizations Schedule Games in WFAST Event

The 2008 featured event for current Independent League players and free agents, "World Free Agent Spring Training" has announced 5 Major League organizations have scheduled games to compete against and evaluate this years group. The Indians, Marlins, Phillies, Cardinals and Nationals have all committied to games during the March 10-26th event. A professional spring training featuring Major League scouts, professional coaches and managers has lead the way for players being evaluated, through practices and scheduled live games. 19 players signed professional contracts from the 2007 event.
