Matt Stark knows what it takes to succeed. A product of Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, CA and a first round draft pick of the Toronto Blue Jays in 1983, Matt has 25 years of professional experience as a player, manager,coach and scout. Matt holds a number of records at various professional levels, and in 1993 became the first player ever to score 100 runs, draw 100 walks and produce 100 RBI's in a single Mexican League season. Since the completion of his professional career, Matt has turned his talents to instruction, serving as a hitting instructor with Tony Gwynn and Rod Carew at hitting camps in Mexico. Matt also served 3 years as the Hitting Instructor for the AAA affiliate (Albuquerque Isotopes) of the 2003 World Champions Florida Marlins. Matt has recently taken on the challenge of International Scouting Supervisor (MX) for the Seattle Mariners entering his 4th year. Stark is responsible for signing 2008 rookie candidate Jorge Campillo a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves. As the cornerstone of iPB's instructional staff, Coach Stark's instructional methods maximize the existing talents of players while at the same time limiting their weaknesses. | |

Jeff Isom- Drafted out of Purdue University in 1993 by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Went on to pitch professionally for seven seasons in the minors with Pirates, Padres, and Fargo of the Northern League. Jeff has managed seven seasons of professional baseball, Five years in the Frontier League (Canton Crocodiles, Washington Wild Things, and Traverse City Beach Bums)and two years in the Northern League (Joliet JackHammers), currently managing in Traverse City. Jeff always tries to make his "value" increase. Jeff in 2007 has took on the task of joining the Milwaukee Brewers and becoming a manager in there minor league system in Helena of the Pioneer league. In 2008 Jeff has been promoted to manage the class A team in the South Atlantic League.

George Tsamis led the St. Paul Saints to the Northern League championship in 2004. Prior to the Saints, Tsamis led the New Jersey Jackals to consecutive Northern League championships in 2001-2002. In 2002, New Jersey finished 62-27, two wins shy of the league's single-season record. Tsamis was named NL East Manager of the Year by media and fellow managers. He is widely considered one of the best young managerial prospects in baseball. As a player, Tsamis pitched in 41 games with the Minnesota Twins in 1993. He was 1-2 with a 6.19 ERA and one save as Minnesota's primary left-handed middle reliever. George is currently the manager of the St. Paul Saints in the Independent American Association. |

Les Lancaster is the newest addition to the iPB roster of professional coaches. A former Major League Pitcher with the Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals, Les amassed 41 wins and just 28 losses with a 3.96 ERA during his Major League career. Les now serves as the Manager of the Reno Silver Sox of the Independent professional Golden Baseball League. Les is an exceptional instructor of Pitching mechanics and the mental approach to pitching, and his vast experience is an asset to the iPB team of professional instructors. Les's Reno Silver Sox were crowned 2006 Golden Baseball league champions and Les was also named manager of the year. Les has accepted a new challenge for the upcoming season in 2008. He recently was named the new manager of the Sioux City Explorers in the Independent American Association League. |

Kash Beauchamp grew up in baseball. His father Jim, played 10 seasons in the Major Leagues and was the bench coach for the Atlanta Braves for 9 seasons including the '95 World Championship team. This background coupled with his own playing experience allows Kash to bring an extensive knowledge of baseball to iPB. Kash was the first overall pick of the 1982 draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. The outfielder played 12 seasons with various organizations, achieving the AAA level in six of those seasons and has accumulated over 1,000 career hits. Beauchamp coached in the Montreal Expos organization during the 1995-1997 seasons before beginning his managerial career with the New Jersey Jackals in 1998, where he managed through the 2000 season. Beauchamp in 2005 took on the task of being the player procurement director of the Independent Golden Baseball league where he was responsible for signing 70 players. In 2006 Kash has just finished his tenure as the manager in the American Association Independent league for the Pensacola Pelicans. In 2007 Kash has taken on the challenge of helping assemble pieces for the new South Coast Independent league as the Vice President/Director of Baseball Operations. Beauchamp has moved on for the upcoming 2008 season and has become the new manager of the Wichita Wing Nuts of the Independent American Association League. For the 2009 season Kash has taken the hitting coach job for the Joliet Jackhammers in the Independent Northern League. | |

Eduardo “Eddie” Dennis returns to the Valley in 2007 as the Field Manager for the Rio Grande Valley White Wings of the United Independent League. Dennis, 47, served as manager of the White Wings from 1998-2000, when the club was part of the Texas-Louisiana League. Dennis led the White Wings to the league championship in 2000. That year, the White Wings finished the regular season with a 63-49 record, then went on to defeat San Angelo 2-1 in their first round playoff series and Amarillo 3-1 in the championship series.
Dennis, a native of the Dominican Republic, lives in Clearwater, FL. After being drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays organization in 1977, he played eight seasons of minor league baseball before moving on to coaching. From 1978 to 1985, Dennis, a second baseman, compiled an overall batting average of .261 in almost 3,000 at-bats in Class A and AA ball. Dennis left the Texas-Louisiana League after the 2000 championship season and returned to the Dominican, before coming back to Clearwater in 2002. eddie currently acts as a Independent league scout and is the Director of his Baseball Academy in Clearwater, Florida. In 2009 Eddie will be coming back to United League as the Field Manager for the Rio Grande Valley White Wings.

James Frisbie A graduate of Abilene Christian and W. Texas A&M University, he played for the Alexandria Aces and the Greenville Bluesmen of the Texas-Louisiana League for four seasons. Frisbie has been a pitching coach for Rio Grande Valley and Jackson of the Central League, Chillicothe of the Frontier League, and Coastal Bend in the American Association. He managed Rio Grande Valley in 2003. James joins the IPB for his first year and is currently the Pitching coach for the Ft.Worth Cats in the American Association.

Chris Carminucci _Was a four year starter at LaGrange College in Georgia where he played third base and led the team in hitting in both his junior and senior year. In 1995, Chris was named team MVP and GIAC Player of the Year. Following graduation, Carminucci played four years in the minor leagues, spending time with the Tennessee Walkers, the Greenville Bluesman in Mississippi, the Evansville Otters in Indiana, and the Albany Southern Pines in Georgia. After his playing career ended, Carminucci was hired as an associate scout for the Kansas City Royals from 1999-2002. Last summer, Chris was an assistant coach for the Brewster (Mass.) Whitecaps of the prestigious Cape Cod League and was named assistant baseball coach by St. John's University in September 2003 to instruct hitting and outfielding. Chris in 2009 will become the new Field Manager of the Brockton Roxs of the Can-Am League.

Jeremy Booth - After finishing his college career at Cypress Community College (CA) and New Mexico State University, Jeremy has accumilated 9 years of professional experience in the minor leagues as a catcher and first baseman. He has achieved many offensive stats including over 100 career home runs and over 300 RBI’s. Jeremy has played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Devil Rays organizations, as well as several independent leagues and parts of four seasons in the Liga Norte Sonora in Mexico. Currently, Jeremy is the hitting coach for the Sussex Skyhawks of the Canadian-American League. We are glad to add Jeremy to the IPB staff and primarily he will be used to evaluate hitters and work with the catcher's. Jeremy is currently an area scout for the Minnesota Twins.
Ronnie Deck-Ronnie spent the 2008 season on the major league staff with the Baltimore Orioles as the bullpen catcher/batting practice pitcher. He will continue in this roll during the 2009 season. Ronnie played collegiately at Oklahoma Christian University where he was an All-Sooner Athletic Conference performer and an NAIA Academic All-American in both his junior and senior seasons. After college Ronnie played professional baseball for seven seasons. He reached the AA level with Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2003. After playing professionally, Ronnie coached at two college programs (Northeastern Junior College of Colorado and Ogelthorpe University in Atlanta) where he was the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach. Ronnie’s debut as a professional coach came in 2007 as the hitting coach for the Windy City Thunderbolts of the Frontier League. The 2007 Thunderbolts won the league title went down as the best team in Frontier League history (74-30).
Bill Bliss-Bliss, 36, will serve as the pitching coach for the Batavia (N.Y.) Muckdogs, a Class A affiliate for the Phillies in the New York-Penn League.He will also be involved with international scouting. Bliss spent the past four years as an area supervisor for the Baltimore Orioles.He was in charge of the southwestern United States and is currently residing in Phoenix, Ariz. He will be with the Phillies when the team reports to Clearwater, Fla., for spring training in February. A third-round pick of the Chicago Cubs in the 1991 draft, Bliss battled arm problems throughout his minor league career. He has, however, managed to stay close to the game and this season will be his 12th in professional baseball.Bliss said he hopes to one day become a general manager. Bill finished up in 2008 as the Pitching Coach of the Class A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2009 Bill has taken a pitcjing coach job with the Lancaster, PA franchise in the Independent Atlantic League.
