Ian West attended the June 2009 Catcher's Camp in Arizona
Matt,
I just wanted to drop you a note and say thank you for all you did for my son, Ian. The camp was great and the conversations at dinner were nice. The time you spent speaking with Ian was awesome. I thank you for the way you spoke with him and boosted his self confidence. He is a good kid but just has not had a lot of success at the game. He gets discouraged and having you be so positive with him and tell him he did a good job really helped. I don't think that adults tell their kids they do a good job enough. You were a positive role model for my son and it showed. He was so excited when he came in second during the Catchers Olympics. He is excited about the opportunity to evaluate the bat you are going to send him. He tells everyone that you are sending him a bat to evaluate. It makes him feel special and important, which translates into self confidence. It takes a special person to do that. I hope that all is well with your son Jake and the rest of your family. Have a nice month off. If you are ever in Southern Nevada, my home is your home.
Forever grateful,
Walt
Phil was hired for his first professional coaching job by the Independent South Coast League.
Matt,
Thank You. I can honestly say if it were not for working for iPB I would not have got the position. It has been my life long dream to Coach Professional Baseball, and because of working the Event that dream came true.
I am truly grateful for what you have done for me.
I am extremely excited to continue working Events. I have been looking forward to the next event since the day I left the Fall League. The Florida Fall League was the best Atmosphere I have ever been involved in. Guys who don't Bull Shit, just hard nosed Baseball People who go about things the right way..
Thanks Matt

Kevin attended the 2007 Florida Fall League
This is Kevin Putkonen, I just wanted to let you know how appreciative I am for the fall league. For the first time I had a coaching staff that was actually honest instead of just feeding me BS all day long. I am going to work my ass off to get where I need to be,
Bub is currently playing in the Independent United league with the Rio Grande Valley White Wings.
I attended the 2007 World Free Agent Spring Training in Cocoa, Florida. It was a great experience for me on many levels. I was able to play against affiliated competition, and recieve instruction from top professional players, managers, and scouts. I was entering my third year of independent professional baseball, and playing against the affiliated organizations really let me know that I could compete at a higher level. It gave me another reminder that was doing what i loved and that I should continue to play hard and maybe eventually get into an organization. The instruction that i recieved was very helpful. I learned the do's and don'ts of being a professional ball player, and many other intangible things i know i would not have learned any place else. Overall, the experience was well worth it. I know that what I learned as a hitter, fielder, and as a professional, has had a direct impact on the season that I am having right now. Thank you Matt Stark, and all of your staff.

Nick was signed by the Independent Golden Baseball Leagues Mesa Miners shortly after the 2005 Baseball Combine. After Just a week with the Miners the Seatttle Mariners purchased Nick's contract from the Independent Golden Baseball League.
When I went to the Baseball combine I did not know what to expect. I had been to a couple major league tryouts, and those tryouts can't really tell if a player can actually play baseball in a game. The baseball combine was the perfect event to prepare me for professional baseball. Everything about that event was professional, from the facilities we used to the staff members. From day 1, everyone at the camp was given multiple opportunities to prove that they can play professionally. If I never went to that event in scottsdale I wouldn't be playing professionally. I would recommend the IPB camps for anyone who wants to become a professional player. Nick Prosise July 24, 2007

Dear Matt,
I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks for giving my son the opportunity to move on with his career. You will never know that that means to our family. Your camp was as good as you promised. Actually, better! It was so nice for my son to enjoy a clean slate for once. It worked out well for him and I can tell, he thoroughly enjoyed the camp in every way. You obviously run a quality deal there. Our family is excited about his signing with the Joes. It was the best $2000 I've spent in a long time! You can rest assured, that when I run across a kid who is wanting his shot, or just wanting to overcome being hosed by his coach as my son was, that I will be recommending your services. Everybody he talked about seemed so interested, nice and knowledgeable. I only wished, I could have seen that Chicago Cubs game.
Best of luck to you in the future, Matt!
Sincerely,
Gary Salyer
Brandon Davis (C) was signed by the Anderson Joes of the Independent South Coast League during the 2007 Baseball Combine.
I just wanted to thank you for giving Brandon an opportunity to play in the South Coast League!
The Combine was great and he had more coaching there in 4 days than he got all 4 years at Georgetown.

| Matt, I have nothing but positive feelings toward IPB and the services they render. After all, IPB is solely responsible for my playing professional baseball. I recieved offers from various teams across the nation within two weeks of completing the Baseball Combine. As for the Combine itself, I feel that IPB and staff treated me with the utmost of respect and professionalism, unlike other scouting services who treated me as just another 'moneymaker'. Everything from the courteous IPB staff members to the amenities offered lived up to and surpassed my expectations of the showcase. IPB also proved to me that they had a personal interest in me and my goal to break out of the small college-ball mould. They made certain to showcase me and my abilities as a closer in the best possible manner. I also found that the staff at the Combine acted in a strictly professional manner and taught me how to conduct myself in a professional manner within the professional setting. IPB also taught me "the ropes" of what professional baseball is all about. The staff broke down 'the business of baseball' and what scouts of organizations actually are looking for in a prospect and how I can best fit that mould. All in all, I feel that IPB was money well spent because once again, I would not be in professional baseball without the services rendered by IPB. Thank you for everything you have done and I look forward to seeing you again, Carl Scheafer-Pensacola Pelicans
John Segovia was signed by the Macon Music of the South Coast Independent League following IPB's Pro Prospect Tour Showcase event in October 2006.
Matt-
So sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was on vacation this past week. I've been meaning to write you to let you know how grateful I am. Thanks so much for everything. I had a great time in Arizona (Pro Prospects Tour event) and appreciated the opportunity. I realize that the camp played a vital role in my signing with the SCL. Thanks again and I'll be sure to keep in touch.
Thanks,
John Segovia (RHP)-Macon Music of the Independent South Coast League
Beau Milner(C) signed with the Anderson Joes of the Independent South Coast League after attending IPB's Ocotber 2006 Pro Prospects Tour event. Beau attended Bethany University in California.
My time at IPB was an amazing experience, from the moment I signed up with an injury, to the moment I left the field I was having a great time. It gave me some of the most exposure I have ever had. The staff was the most knowledgable and pleasent people I have had the pleasure working under in my baseball career. If it wasnt for IPB I would not have a job in Professional baseball today!

As far as my IPB testimonial, I can't say enough good things. IPB gave me the opportunity to get a feel of what it is like to be a professional baseball player. On top of that, it gave me a very realistic idea of how I matched up against professional hitters. Even though I under achieved at the showcase, the directors and scouts at the event were still able to see physical upside in me and they were able to make an accurate scouting report. I liked IPB because it wasn't like the standard pro tryouts (which are a total joke). IPB gave me the opportunity to showcase my ability over ten day period. What can I say? Less than 24 hours after the event was over, I signed a professional baseball contract. 48 hours after the event was over, I made my pro debut on the mound and threw five scoreless innings. Those are clear cut results. IPB is not just a gimmick to make a bunch of money. The staff truly cares about their players and they made it very evident that if you have the ability to play baseball at the professional level, they will get you there...I found out first hand.
Thanks again for everything Matt!

Attending IPB’s Professional Pitching Camp was a major “turning point” in my baseball career. The confidence instilled in me during this 3 day camp elevated my level of play to an All-State player. I received All-State honors this week.
In the past, I have attended college camps and have had several personal trainers, each having their own opinion on mechanics, release points, follow through, pitching drills, etc. Learning first hand from former professional catcher Matt Stark and former Cubs pitcher Les Lancaster allowed me to increase both my throwing speed (6 mph) and accuracy (1.68 BB/game). A better scenario does not exist, former pro pitchers and catchers teaching young pitchers and catchers the physical and mental aspect of the game. I have never attended a camp where the staff had so much professional experience.
I look forward to attending IPB’s Professional Pitching Camp again this coming December. of 2006.

Dear Mr. Stark,
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate me at the IPB Scouting Combine on May 28-June 6, 2006. I certainly appreciate your time and attention in the midst of so many players seeking professional baseball playing contracts.
You were extremely thorough in explaining the whole concept of baseball and what it takes to be a professional and compete at the next level. You were also frank and honest with me about my situation concerning my age and experience and ability of play and the tools, steps, and programs I need to pursue.
Now that I have a better idea of what the position entails, I am even more sure that I would apply what I learn from IPB and improve so I can be an asset a professional level team in the future. Inspite my age and level of play and experience, the desire to play is still there and I am still looking to do the necessary things to work hard and prepare myself for pro level competion in the future.
Overall I really enjoy the IPB Scouting Combine event and the wonderful products (shoes and the batting gloves) your company sales. I will stay in contact with you and I will keep you in mind.
Thank you once again for your time and consideration. I wish you the very best!
Sincerely,
Kerwyn Jones-Baseball Combine 2006
"The WFAST event is one of the best-run programs I have been associated with. The staff helped me with my endeavors in pro baseball. iPB helped me get into organized baseball, and was run as good as (if not better than) organizational spring training! The coaches helped me develop on-field skills and off-field conditioning and guidance, which was important for me."
Jake Whitesides-Currently is under contract with the Chicago Cubs Organization Chicago White Sox
"Before WFAST I had never really had the exposure that I needed to get the opportunity to play professional baseball. Once I got there, there were scouts from all over and I was able to receive more exposure in three weeks than I had in the past five years. And thanks to WFAST I was seen by the Milwaukee Brewers organization and signed on the spot. Once I joined the Brewers, I was able to use the great hitting and fielding instruction I got to earn a roster spot. Matt Stark was also able to help me fine-tune my swing so that I felt at ease with it throughout my first season. I can honestly say that going to WFAST was the best investment I've ever made because it finally got my professional career started."
Carlos Gallardo-Currently playing in the American Association League Milwaukee Brewers
"WFAST was the best decision I have made in my baseball career. I went from being a backup catcher in the Frontier League to the Milwaukee Brewers farm system. Only WFAST gave me the opportunity to showcase my skills to a number of organizations and independent teams. I was able to get picked up by the Brewers for most of the 2004 season, and, after my release, WFAST continued to help place me with the St. Paul Saints where I earned a Northern League championship. Along with the exposure came top-notch instruction as well. They helped me become a better ballplayer in the three weeks I was there. Not to mention the great time and the chance to play baseball in February. WFAST was worth every penny spent."
Tim Marks-Currently Playing in the Northern League St. Paul Saints
"It was a pleasure participating and being a guest Instructor for the iPB event in Albuquerque. The format of the program I have never seen before, and what kids take away from it is great! It gives them a foundation to play at the next level."
Kevin Hooper- Currently playing with the Detroit Tigers Organization Albuquerque Isotopes - AAA Affiliate of the Florida Marlins-2004
"The iPB event was unlike any other event I have been to - now I know what it is like to be a professional - everything the staff did made me feel like I was the only player at the ballpark. My parents personally thanked the iPB staff at the end of the session, which was a first! I am also hitting the ball with greater consistency now - I picked up a tip on every aspect of my game."
Jeff Magniolas, 17 Diamond Bar,CA
"I never thought I'd make my High School team until I went to one of the iPB events. What I found out was amazing. The staff broke down every aspect of my fundamentals and "rebuilt" me into the ballplayer I have become today. Not only did the instruction help me succeed in baseball, it also helped me realize that I control my destiny as an athlete and as a student. I hope that anyone attending an iPB event has the same experience I I did!"
J.J. Eastwood, 16 Rio Linda, Californai
"...I called Matt Stark and he was straight up with me. Matt carefully and passionately described the purpose of the program to me. What I appreciated the most is that he was very sincere with me. He said, “ if you don’t have it then we are going to tell you”. I then clearly saw that the purpose of the this camp was to help those who really felt they had legitimate ability, but for some circumstance or another had been simply overlooked. It was his candid response and his certainty of purpose that made me decide to roll the dice and pay the camp fee.
This camp is big league. Everything from the attitude to the quality of instruction was absolutely first class. As a pitcher I had never received such state of the art and leading tech instruction as I had from Brad Hall, the phenomenal pitching instructor. He is very perceptive, well versed, and therefore made very sensible suggestions regarding adjustments to my mechanics.
... I was the first pick by the Coastal Bend Aviators and my dream to play pro ball and forever be in the record of professional baseball finally came true for me as a 36 year old man. This was truly a thrill that I can always reflect upon with satisfaction that I earned outright with my persistence and World Free Agent Spring Training was an integral part of that journey. So my point is that if you think you really have a legitimate ability and have a deep burning passion for the game then by all means go, otherwise you will be in the irreconcilable position of saying 'what if I had'. Asking yourself 'what if?' is one of the worst things to say in life especially when you had the opportunity to realize your passion."
